NEET Result 2018
NEET Result will be conducted by CBSE in offline mode i.e pen and paper in various test centres across the country. The exam will be conducted for the aspirants who are seeking admission to MBBS/BDS courses in all the government and private colleges in India. There are 15% all India quota seats and the remaining state level is for govt and private medical institutions of India. CBSE is responsible in the declaration of NEET Result 2018 and providing all India rank to each candidate. The result shows the total marks and percentile of the candidates.

NEET Cutoff 2018
The cutoff score for counselling under 15%All India quota seats that will be declared in the month of June 2018. The merit list will be based on the NEET Cutoff and that involves candidate’s marks, range, no. of candidates and category. After releasing cut off marks candidates can check their cut off and counselling would be conducted by the MCC ( medical counselling committee ) .

Merit list for counselling under 15% quota
The merit list will be prepared by the CBSE on the basis of score obtained by a candidate in NEET 2018. The merit list will be equal to the number of seats available for the allotment in MBBS/BDS courses under 15% all India quota after NEET Result announcement. There shall be waiting list equal to 4 times the merit list.Candidates will be allotted through the online counselling.
Merit list for counselling for state-level quota seats
CBSE will provide all India Rank for MBBS/BDS aspirants in 85% state-level quota based on NEET 2018 result. The candidates will be invited by the Admitting authority for the counselling and merit list will be drawn according to the NEET Rank.
Tie-breaking while calculating NEET Result 2018
In case there is a tie between two or more candidate’s i.e if they are obtaining equal marks in NEET 2018, the inter se- merit will be analyzed in order of preference as follows:
- Candidates obtaining higher marks in zoology and botany.
- Higher marks in chemistry
- Candidate with less no. of the attempted wrong answer in all subjects.
- Candidate elder in age will be preferred.
