UPDATE (28/2/2018): JEE Main Result 2018 is expected to be released in the month of April (Paper 1) and May (Paper 2) 2018. As soon as the authority will declare JEE Main result, we will be updating our article. Students can bookmark our page for latest updates regarding JEE Main 2018 examination.
The declaration of JEE Main 2018 result will be on April 30, 2018. The result will be declared online separately for Paper 1 and Paper 2 on May 31st, 2018. For the academic year 2018-19, approx. 2,24000 top candidates of JEE Main 2018 will be qualified to appear in JEE Advanced 2018. Till 2017, only top candidates of JEE Main were eligible to take JEE Advance.

How to check your JEE Main Result 2018

- Enter your JEE Main 2018 roll number and date of birth.
- Click on “submit button”
- Candidate can see their result, All India Rank, category rank and qualifying status for JEE Advanced 2018.
- Download your admit card and keep it for further use.

How to calculate JEE Main 2018 score and rank
JEE Main Score= 4 marks x number of correct answers- number of wrong answers x 1
Calculating JEE Main Rank
The main score of JEE Main 2018 will be used to calculate the rank of engineering entrance test. The higher you score the higher will be the rank of JEE Main 2018. If two or more candidates score equally, then a tie-breaking rule will be applicable.
What is a Tie-breaking policy?
In case two or more candidates secure equal marks in the examination, then, in this case, tiebreaker policy will be applicable.

The candidates can check their rank along with the JEE Main Result 2018. The Rank will depend on the score of the candidates. AIR ( All India Rank ) is used for the admission while category rank is just for information. The rank will be used by JoSAA for admission purpose.
