JEE Advanced 2018 Counselling Procedure
Candidates have to go through the following steps during the JEE Advanced 2018 Counselling.
STEP 1: online registration
The first step is to register yourself in the Counselling process by going to the official website. No fee will be charged for the registration. Candidates have to fill their details gender, state code, nationality etc.
STEP 2: Choice filling and locking
After the registration, candidates are required to login with their JEE Main 2018 Roll number and password. Fill the maximum choices as per your preference. It is advised for the candidates to lock their preference. In case a student forgot to lock the preference, last saved choices will be locked automatically.
STEP 3: Provisional Seat Allotment
Candidates who will get seat alloted will be able to download provisional seat allotment letter and e-challan. The challan will be used as the payment of seat acceptance fee.
Step 4- Seat Acceptance
Candidates have to pay Rs 20,000( Reserves Category) and Rs 45,000 ( general category) as seat acceptance fee. Fee can be paid through SBI Net Banking/e-challan.
Step 5- Reporting to the Allocated Centre
After the seat acceptance, candidates have to report to the allocated centre within the time period with proper documents for the verification . Seat confirmation will be done after the verification
Step 6- Reporting to the allocated Colleges
After the seat confirmation , candidates have to report their allotted colleges to complete admission formalities.Students should mark his or her presence before due date.
Documents Required For JEE Advanced Counselling 2018
Candidates must carry the following documents at the time of counselling and document verification process.
- JEE Advanced Admit Card
- Provisional seat allotment letter
- Date of birth certificate
- Photo ID proof( issued by govt/agency/ last attended school/ xii admit card)
- 12th class marksheet
- DOB Proof (10th class mark sheet)
- Medical Certificate
- Passport size colored photograph( 2- passport same as uploaded in the registration form)
- Category Certificate( if valid)
- Pwd Certificate (if applicable)
- Passport of the candidates and parents ( for foreign nationals), OCI Certificate and PIO Card ( If applicable)
